Get Snappy – Photo Competition launched for community groups to win charity funds.

Designed to celebrate and showcase the crucial and fantastic work of community groups all over York and North Yorkshire.

Two Ridings in conjunction with the High Sheriff of York are delighted to announce the 2023 Community Photo Competition.

Community groups in York and North Yorkshire are invited to send in amateur photographs (maximum two per organisation) that capture the essence of community for them.

We want to see the people of our community, the vibrancy, the energy; the magic that shows the activities the community participates in and enjoys.

Photos from two categories “OUR PEOPLE” & “OUR PLACES” could include people (with permission) in them (staff, beneficiaries, volunteers, for example) and we envisage the photographs show off what a group does and how they do it. The photographs can be literal or artistic.

Stutton Social Committee would like to invite entries from any member of our community, young or old. You can enter as many photos as you want (max 300dpi) by uploading them onto the NEW Stutton Village web site. Stuttonvillage.co.uk/photo-competition

Entries close 30th August 2023, a local judging panel will choose the 2 entries to go forward into the regional final. Any winning prize money will go direct to the Stutton Village Hall. The two entries put forward to the regional competition will receive a local prize each.
